A Gaunt's Ghosts Army Blog

Just a place holder to say after I finish my up my Dark Angels Company, I'll be starting in on the Ghosts.

I have to say I'm a late convert to the Ghosts. I was always more a fan of Space Marines then the IG. Though after having 'Honour Guard' shoved into my hands by a friend, I was hooked. I borrowed his novels and got caught up -to 'Guns of Tanith'- and while waiting to for the next book, got transferred to another unit and kinda of forgot about the 'First and Only'... At which point the Black Library released the first omnibus and I was right back at it! After rereading all three to remember what all happened up to 'Blood Pact' and then reading 'Blood Pact', I got the wild idea to start a Ghosts IG Army.

Now, I'm not going to try and shoe horn the old characters into the new edition. What I am going to do is make an IG army that has the Ghosts flavor. The infantry will be Ghost minis for the original members, Cadians for the Verghastites, and Catachans for the Belladonians. For an added punch my armor will be 8th Pardus Armor and stormtroopers will be Vitrian Dragoons. Over the coming weeks I'll punch up a set of lists -1850, 2000, etc- and get some WIP shots of the squads and platoons as they get put together.
